Everyone seemed excited and ready to go! First praise of the trip...they actually got all of the supplies and the backpacks for the orphanages in without going over the weight limit! It was pretty funny at the airport this afternoon as we stuffed backpacks in every possible place to try to get the bags under 50lbs. Bill & Elizabeth had the idea to give all of the children in the orphanages backpacks and school supplies. We were able to get high quality bags at a great discount (thank you, Jenni!) and our Awana kids helped to pack them on Wednesday.
Please pray for the team as they travel tonight and tomorrow. They will arrive in India tomorrow around lunch time (our time). Pray for safe travels, good health, and strength in spite of jet lag and exhaustion.
