Prayer Warriors~

We are so incredibly blessed to know so many amazing prayer warriors.  Thank you to those of you who have already been praying for us!  During our orientation meeting they told us that during past trips they have encountered numerous seemingly impossible situations that have been resolved in nearly miraculous ways.  We know this is a result of the prayers of those back home.  We have had many people ask us for specific ways that they can pray.  Here goes....

-Please pray for the people of Bihar.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will be working in their hearts and that there will be a huge revival there.  Bihar has long been known as the "graveyard of missions" because of the lack of response to the Gospel there for so many years.  People are now starting to respond.  Pray that God will use our efforts and the efforts of those that are there day in and out working with the people of Bihar to bring them to Christ.

-The team will take turns speaking to the different villages and ministries there.  We will speak for 15-20 minutes through a translator.  Please pray that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit as we speak and that we will communicate to the people exactly what God intends for them to hear.  Pray that lives will be changed.

-Pray that God will send workers and that the church planting movement will be successful all over Bihar.

-Pray for us to have the strength, energy and patience that we will need as we travel.(Marianne is not the best traveller!).

-Air travel is apparently quite unpredictable in India.  Cancellations are common and airports shut down frequently.  Please pray that we will get to our scheduled destinations safely and on time.  Pray that our luggage comes with us!

-Pray that we will be healthy while there.  It is very easy to eat contaminated food/water without knowing it.  We don't want to miss a minute of time with the people of Bihar because we're sick.

-Pray for our children as they will be with Marianne's parents here at our house for the week.  Pray that they will be safe and stay healthy, be very easy to manage, and not miss us too much.  Pray for Marianne's parents!!

--Pray for God to show you how you and your family might support this ministry.  Whether it's through a commitment to prayer for Bihar or financially, by adopting a village, supporting the drilling of a well, literacy training, supporting the orphanage...Check our your options here:  http://www.baptistsonmission.org/Projects/Outside-US/India
